(Kiel, 3rd September 2021) The 127th Kieler Woche will start on Saturday, 4th September 2021. This year, the focus of the world's largest sailing event is on the waterside programme. Highlights for visitors include the eleven cruise calls by six different ships and the spectacular light and fireworks show presented by AIDA Cruises on the last day of the event.

To kick off this year's Kieler Woche, the "AIDAprima" is expected at the Ostseekai on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The "AIDAluna" is already berthed there, which will celebrate its re-launch on Sunday (05/09) and is currently making final preparations. Thus, visitors will already be able to enjoy a wonderful sight at the Ostseekai and on the fjord on Saturday. On 12th September, "AIDAluna" will also be the star guest at the impressive closing show for Kieler Woche. At around 9 p.m. the ship will take up its position at the quay. From around 9.21 p.m., the 20-minute light show in the form of a drone show and an accompanying light and laser show will start.
