Disney Cruise Line in Kiel

(KIEL, 03 August 2023) The Disney Dream arrived at the Ostseekai terminal on Wednesday morning, marking Disney Cruise Line’s inaugural call on Port of Kiel. This special occasion was celebrated with a customary exchange of plaques on board the Disney Dream.
"With the arrival of the Disney Dream, we are not only welcoming a unique cruise ship - but also Disney Cruise Line for the first time in Kiel. We are always particularly pleased when Kiel is a destination for international cruise guests," says Dr. Dirk Claus, Managing Director of SEEHAFEN KIEL GmbH & Co. KG.
With the Disney Dream sailing to the Port Kiel, guests of all ages, including families with children, will enjoy the port and a range of excursions in the surrounding area. The Disney Dream will continue its round trip through Northern Europe in Nynäshamn, Sweden, and end in Copenhagen, after stops in Denmark and Norway. The Disney Dream is scheduled to return to the Port of Kiel for a second time on 9 August.
With a total of 222 cruise ship calls reported for the 2023 season, the PORT OF KIEL is one of the most popular cruise ports in Germany. In recent years, Kiel has also gained in importance as an international destination for North American shipping companies.
